The day started in a cornfield with my partner and I shooting our old Parker 10 bores at geese.  We limited early and grabbed our Parker 20 ga's and went jump shooting on a small river.  Then went to some other cornfields and finished the day shooting crows.  I went back the mighty ten and my partner stayed with the twenty. We caught a big group of migrating birds and it turned out to be our best ever two person one day kill and the best personal day for my partner in the picture.  Phew! time for bed smile

NH,

Well you sure had a mixed bag. Those wood ducks sure look good, taste good too.

I remember just a couple of weeks ago you were down in the dumps because you thought west nile killed em all off. I said they were more than likeley late or had moved to another area, I'm glad they didn't move for you're sake.

Thats how hunting goes I suppose, one week you think all is lost and the next gives you the best shoot you ever had, go figure! Well this aught to charge you up a bit! Congrats on you're success NH.

great job
just started to possibly see some migrants to day here. Saw a rather large flock in a area that I haven't seen that many in all year.

Very Very nice . The Parker's just add complements to the pics. The pic of the woods and Parker's needs to be blown up and framed.

Outstanding day NH. I am a big fan of the mixed bag, and yours is top notch. And doing it with those sweet old guns just makes adds to it.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bob. I am no photographer but there is a chance the picture could be voted on in a Parker photo of the month contest as a friend has entered it.
