How hard is it to get permission to hunt where you guys live? You would be amazed at how difficult it can be down here to find land that does not have the hunting rights leased out.
Here in Pa. all you have to do is tell the farmers you want to hunt crows and they welcome you with open arms. I have found that if you show up in decent clothes and state your intentions, it goes along way. We never ask permission in camo, unless we are sent by another landowner who says I just spoke to my neighbor and he like you guys to comeover to meet now. We put as much time into or more scouting and obtaining access as we do hunting and I can tell you it pays off. If you get access respect it and also ask if they know of any other landowners who may let you hunt. Once you get a good reputation more access will come.

whatever i'm doing i'm thinking about crow hunting
Same here with the camo, only when hunting. The majority of our farmland is rice fields, which really don't interest the crows. The big draw is ducks & geese. For the most part, its not that they won't let you hunt, its that they CAN'T let you hunt because the hunting rights have been leased out. Nevertheless, you will never know if you don't ask. We also spend alot of time scouting & knocking on doors.
Hey Watch'em, what part of PA are you located? I'm in Montgomery Co (philly subs, 30 miles NE). I hunt in the Lehigh Valley and Poconos, near E. Stroudsburg.
Gadget Bob is the land owner relations point man for the Texas Crow Patrol. Seems he always has that perfect token or gift for the pecan orchard owners!
