Happiness comes in piles

Went out after lunch this afternoon.  Drove by a field on my way to another spot when I saw about 50 crows.  I figured it would be a hit and run mission.  Winds were blowing over 25 mph in gust making shooting a bit more challenging.  I ended up dropping 26 with 48 shots in a couple of hours. October is simply grand.

A very nice gathering of crows you have there.
At work, there are a few who understand my humour, I refer to them as Exotic Black Pheasant.  biggrin

Very professional...  I love those big empties our 10's produce, too.  biggrin.gif

Well done.  You are on a roll now!  Thank you for sharing your success with us.

Be thankful you can hunt them in Oct.  MI's season is Aug/Sept and Feb/Mar.  We see the biggest migration in the months of Oct & Mar.  So, we miss the bulk of the fall migration.  Thank goodness we catch them heading back north in the spring else I'd go crazy.

There are 300-400 feeding daily down the road from my house and I cannot touch them.  frustrated.gif
