I was walking around the corner of the field from groundhog hunting and I spotted this bandit up in the tree. So I ducked into the corn field and moved around till I could get the trunk of the tree as a good backstop. I busted him at 170 yards offhand. 

I would like to think the shot was skill, but I'm sure luck played a heavy role in this one. biggrin

A little luck or not, a 170 yard off hand kill shot on a crow is simply outstanding!!!

Oh that's just wrong. My buddy has my 17 and I can't wait to get it back so that I can start sniping. I just got to try it.

That is a juvenile. you probably could have gotten a lot closer provided the parents weren't around but all the same-nice shooting!
