Hello : Do crows migrate away in winter where you are or are they there all winter.?? Well a lot do but alot stay in the winter if its mild if you look on a map Iam 60 miles south west of Toronto Ont but the big amount of crow are west of Brantford London to Windsor and the flyway to the USA would be near Catham Ont. to Detroit USA. Kent
We were talking about some Crow special on one of our TV stations down here. The show started off talking about a HUGE roost near Chatham. I don't know how far that is for you...but I think it would be worth a trip.
For some reason (maybe because I am actually paying attention now) there seems to be more migrants this year. I've (and Watch Em) been seeing big flocks of crows in multiple locations. Locations where we usually see far less.
I sure wish non-residents of Canada could shoot crows. Being from Michigan I'd consider a trip over there for a few days. I have a buddy in London so it would be a pretty cheap trip too. It just seems funny that I can come over to Canada and shoot pretty much any type of game - but crows, no, they are off limits. gggrrr.
I have no plans to ever go to Canada to hunt (well, maybe big game some day if I make a lot more money) but I never knew non residents couldn't hunt crows there. Why is that?
