Back at it Same spot

I broke my own rule today and headed back to the same spot I shot yesterday. Normally its a waste of time around here, not this yearsmile I could not get a soul to go with me cause the deer are in full rut and they are all in a tree. I sat and drank coffee and killed 86 bandits all by my lonesomebiggrin In the first pic you can see the chip crow with all the birds that tried to land on its back, not a good ideafurious pic 2 is my hide (Excuse me Shane) its not up to his standard but it worked.LOL.. Pic 3 more carnage under chip crowno Pic 4 This crow needed shot, all those shad to eat and look!!! he had a 3 inch large mouth bass he died with still stuck in his beakbiggrin Pic 4 is one of Jonathan Boos flappers since my busters motors wont last me a complete season I have had to resort to toys, but they work. A U.S. forest ranger came out to see what all the noise was and informed me that this was not a waterfowl management area at about 12:30 so dad broke out the lead and the Jellyhead and started dumping them tall screamers. It was absolutely awesomebiggrin There are still thousands of birds feeding in the area so guess what my MAXUS will be heade back in the am. I had 4 triples today with that gun, we have become as one with each other!!!!!!!

Hi Cro
This idea came from CT Crow, the post was lost in the web site upgrade. Take a long piece of duel conductor speaker wire (about 25'-0")and cut the stock switch wires, solder in the the speaker wire to each leed, then solder on a switch at the far end. CT actually used an old flash light with D-size batteries and eliminated the batteries at the buster. I plan to do this when I have time, but for now just leave the stock batteries in the Buster and relocate your switch. My Buster is a lot happier not flapping for four hours straight!!biggrin

I would have to buy another buster, I think I have bought 3 already. I forgot to put my total from yesterday on my post, it was 86,,,,My tbc for the year so far is 477, well on my way to my goal of 1000. I see how bob has all those big number days now. When they keep comming and you keep shooting they add up. My problem is I cant get anyone to go with me.............I just dont get it

I shot one last year that had just left the town dump, & he died with a chicken wing in his mouth.

Hi Chip,

I like you're statement where you feel as one with you're shotgun, it must fit you quite well. If you shot four triples on one hunt that tells me they were really working well as they came into you're setup.

As far as not being able to get anyone to go with you, I would not even give it a second thoutht. More birds for you!!!
