I've been using cedar blinds for over 35 years, also tumble weed blinds as well, here are a few in the field.

Nice blinds Bob! You have enough room in there for all your shells? My lands after seeing  your last few hunts I'de be afraid of twisting an ankle on all the empty hulls! LOL

Reguarding the last pic, it looks like a pecan orchard. "The New Big Green Ball" in the middle of it doesn't spook the birds? Do you sit and shoot or "pop up" and shoot?  Do you hang decoys in the pecan trees around the blind?

How far away from the blind is the tree with the crows in them?

Thanks for any help. I am reading all I can about this sport. This is a great site.

Hi Greg,

Doesen't bother em a bit, they just think it's an evergreen tree. I've killed many a mallard and pintail out of that same blind.

The deks were 15 yards up wind of the blind.

Most of the time I stand to shoot I just come up easy not like a "Jack & the Box"

Foxpro has more photos of that pecan orchard shoot in there photo section, look under Bob Aronsohn.
