Crowtec: do you use a mouth call all the time or try to mix mouth calling with an electronic caller? This is, by the way, one very fine looking crow instrument.

Jon, awesome looking Gibson...my first Gibson was what Darrell called a long range call...but my favorite call he makes is his small mouth piece short-mag...I really like that particular model...I have 2 short-mags made out of Texas Osage...and 1 my newest made out of Bamboo...what wood did he cap your bamboo call with...

that's some kind of burl.

i also own a couple of long range magnums or whatever he calls them...i just happened to be on the phone with Darrell one day, and he mentioned that he had a bamboo/burl call on his dresser that needed a home.  well not only does it have a home, it's always around my neck when I'm in the field!



it's my favorite call.

Calls are like potato chips,you cant just have one!! I have to admit I am a "call whore"  Yes , I know,I know, but first you have to admit that you have a problem before you can solve it!!biggrin

Did you make your Ghillie or buy it??
