Only picked up 38. But that does bring the total to 295 out of this pecan orchard. Left a few more it the treeline. Most shots were 30 - 45 yards which is far for us. This is Savannah with her crow. She cleaned up at a few cripples. Two were picked up after the pic was taken for anyone that is counting.

That's the least we have killed there except for one ill advised afternoon hunt. From the numbers I see on here, I thought 38 was a bad hunt. So I'm new to this, what is a good number for yall?

Thats way COOL takin that Boy hunting.. I sure wished when I was that age someone would have tough me how to hunt.Sure would have made things seem less than a chore... when I was that age if we wanted something different to eat ya went out and got it yourself. I take my nephew but hes more worried about girls... and my Boy... well he had rather mess with computers... I am still kicking mysef in the Kester for teaching him about computers.. Well and oh well hes not in trouble. I love teaching youngins the proper techniques of hunting safely.Peace be with you my Friend.
Opps thats a Girl her name is Savannah.. my fault hard to tell with that hair pulled back,,, Forgive me.
Its OK. I didn't even notice which kid I had with me till you posted this. She cleaned up a few on the ground. My 8 yo son can occasional hit one on the wing.
I'm with you, wish I could have spent more time in the woods with my dad, But I AM MAKING UP THAT LOST TIME WITH MY KIDS!!! I grab every moment I can with them, weather at home or in the woods. They are all outdoor enthusist of one form or another.
