I've been looking high and low for Johnny Stewart's "Crow Reveille" and I can only seem to find it on Cassette tape?

Is there anyone, out there that has it in MP3 format?     Any help, is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.      Skip.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but if you look on this list from FoxPro, the sound that is just called "crow" is very similar. Works good on my Spitfire.

I have "Crows" on my CS-24 and it works great in combination with dying crow. Those are about the only 2 calls I use out of Fox Pro's sound list. Of course Fighting Crows but only at last resort. My favorite call of all time is come here crow by JS and I would love to have it on my CS-24 how bout that one JTP????

I found my "Crow Come Here" by JS but can't find Reveille.

I bought it on CD years ago, so I'm sure it's around somewhere, but it'll be hell to find.

If your caller is MP3 compatible, it should be as easy as one of us emailing you an MP3 file, and you will transfer it onto your unit.  If you're not sure how to make that happen, grab a teenager, to help you. A niece/nefew, son/doughter, or neighbour's kid. MP3, is how they listen to all their music these days, they should be able to set you up, instantly. biggrin

If you find out if you're unit is MP3 compatible, let us know what sounds you're looking for, and we can transfer the sounds from our CD's, into an MP3 file, and email them to you.

Hey Guys,

First off, I agree..the JS Crow Come Here call is the BEST!  I have it on CD and I have an old Lohman CD caller that I use to play it.  But now we have a Spitfire and I don't have that sound on it.  I emailed FoxPro about getting the sound from the CD to the Spitfire and this is what they told me (I haven't done it yet..but it sounds easy enough):

"If the CD you have is a standard audio CD, you can extract the audio into MP3 files on your PC by using a program such as CDEx (http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/). Once you have the MP3 files on your hard drive, then it becomes a matter of loading those sounds into your memory card.

The memory card is located behind the back door on the Spitfire housing. It resides in a push-pull socket. Push in the card to release and then pull it out. The card can then be inserted into a standard USB micro SD card reader and connected to your PC. Once connected to your PC, it will be assigned a drive letter and accessed like any memory card or USB flash drive. You can use the software on our website for transferring your new sounds to the memory card or you can load the sounds manually. Once the sounds are in the unit, you then must transfer the new play-list to the TX-24 remote. The update is completed by using a 3.5mm stereo patch cable between the TX-24 side jack and auxiliary jack on the Spitfire."

Hope this helps!

Hammer

I use Audacity for that.  It's pretty simple to use, and free.

I downloaded Audacity the other day and now you have to download CDEx also to convert the files. You only have to download and set it up once and then Audacity takes it for there. It is very simple to do. Just follow the instructions.

Hey do you mean the "asault crow" decoy that bouces on the long rod?  I checked those out, and they do look smokin'!

Did you use a light metal rod for the bouncer?  I'm thinking about ordering 1 or 2, if I can find a way to ship em' up here to canada at a reasonable cost.

I'm also, thinking of scoring a Gibson call, from Crowmart aswell, providing shipping to Cananda is reasonable.

Skip I highly reccomend the assault crow system. Get the metal rods!!! If you have a wind more than 10 mph that thing literally comes alivebiggrin I bend 2 opposite 45's in my rods and place the ground part in a 3 foot piece of half inch conduit. Makes it wind directional and the birds love it. Add a buster to the spread or a 3d crow flapper from ureaduck and you are set. They come in for a much closer look and that proves deadly. By the way my nephew has taken care of all my call problems. He downloaded Bob A's run and gun cd on my 24 and I also have JS come here crow added as well. It is bad ass. I just cant wait for a minor reverse migration the temps around here have drivin everything southbleh I have 911 birds on the season. My goal of a 1000 is clearly in sight. One more decent shoot and I will have reached my mark.......... Do the assualt system its worth the money, it just looks too real they cant stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I was snoopin' around the web and was able to fid them on cassette tapes, and those digital memory cards.  I need to find them on either CD, or MP3 file, so I can load them onto my caller.

Thanks for your help.              Skip.

Good luck out there in the killing fields.
