Hey, for the guys who are interested there will be a pretty big article in the Sunday paper in Kansas City.
The head sports reporter drove to my house about 10 days ago to interview me about crow hunting. He toured the "Crow Museum" and took lots of photos.
You can see it on line this Sunday. Go to Google and type in kansas city.com Then click onto where it says sports. After that look at the top of the page for "More" and click onto that. Then click onto "Outdoors" and look for Brent Frazee's crow article.

I hope the reporter does not have a secret adjenda,I have seen sportsman do interviews to try and reach out to the public, only to have the press, cut and chop the interview to make the hunters look like bloodthirsty maniacs.I am afraid this will also put Bob in the cross hairs (oh ah sorry did not mean to use inflammatory speech) put Bob in the anti hunting publics focus. Maybe I am just being paranoid, but it happens up here a lot.

The focus of the article is going to be more about a young guy moving from Long Island, New York to Kansas to be closer to the crows. I don't think they are going to get into the numbers of crows shot for the reasons you mentioned.

Fine article and interview I though. Can't even see it stirring up the anti's all too much as talk about shooting vast numbers of crows was wisely omitted. Just an article about a guy that has a lifelong passion for crow hunting and thus eliminating a bunch of agricultural pests.

Anyone who has never seen that photo you are talking about would never pick up on it in the newspaper photo. You have an astute sence of observation! I bet you're a good crow hunter in you're neck of the woods.

that was cool. u inspire me to hunt other states even harder. i will spend my last $1 on hunting. yesterday me & my cousin scrounged up change in my truck just to buy 1 crow decoy on the way home from hunting. lol
The three things he remembered most was the story about me not going to the dinner that Ronald Regan had because it was during crow season. Then the story about my wife saying (when we both lived on Long Island, New York) that she would follow me anywhere "because she met my side of the family" he thought that was pretty funny. Then the huge crow trophy that you & Mike had put together for a lifetime achievement award, he thought that was very thoughtfull and so did I.

Nice write up they did on you Bob You got me started in crow hunting. I listen to the predator talkcast and after you were a guest on the show I was hooked. Still my one of my favorite talkcast shows
Bob not sure how to work this forum thing yet, but I did answer your question about me hunting with Mr. Schaefer from Minnesota, on my post I guess you would call it that. Sorry I am not that great on this thing yet, but I know my way around Craigs List!!!! Later J Crowvorkian
That was a good feature! It's doubly good because the Star is a 100 percent anti-gun liberal newspaper.
Frazee is a good outdoor writer and photographer, but IMO and a lot of others... he is star-struck by B.A.S.S. and bass fishing, and writes waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too often about pro bass fishing, week-in and week-out.
So I'm glad to see him promoting not only hunting, but a controversial form of hunting.
If I bring all the shells, can I go shooting with you, Bob??? LMAO
