I wouldnt use those if they were my only choice. You can kill crows without decoys... then just use the dead.

got some news about something new that is supposed to be hitting the market later this year. is anyone familiar with Cherokee Sports. they make blow-up decoys.NO . . . not blow-up dolls! blow-up decoys. they photoprint an actual picture of a bird onto a REALLY tuff balloon-type material & these things look awesome. i have used the dove dec.s for years. they come with a little stake, that has pointy tip,you put in the ground and it lets the decoy move with the slightest breeze.and the best part is when your done you let the air out and they wad up into a little ball. you can fit an entire dozen doves into your pocket.MAN ARE THESE THINGS CONVENIENT! long story short. they are in the process of making the CROW decoys now.if these things look as good as their other stuff this could revolutionize crow hunting. you could stick a dozen inside of a Flambeau decoy. thought ya'll might be interested. check out their web site. there are pix of a hawk holding one of the doves in its tallons(of course it did pop). but i have never had the slightest problem out of any of my doves, and i have beat them up. so quality IS very good.a run 'n' gun dream come true.

I use the featherlite duck decoys by cherokee sports. They arent shaped exactly like a duck but the colors are good and the paint doesnt come off and they have no keel so they will float in 1 inch of water. Im sure there crow decoys are great.

I looked at the silosocks on their website, seems like a great idea. I saw a picture of those blow-ups recently, might have been here on the forum.

I'm going to sell my carry-lite crow decoys this summer and get a complete spread of the greenhead gear dekes before the fall season rolls around, I saw some on display at the tri state upland game show and I was very impressed.
