Hey ya,ll I am new here and I can,t wait to read all these topics!!! I have been crow huntin for 6 years here in Mississippi and loved every second of it. My huntin buddy 8fisherman told me about this site a few weeks ago. these is one thing I have learnedwhile hunting crows is ... the more I go the less I know about crows lol.
we hunt em up here in southern illinois... got the ohio river and the mississippi funneling them down through our area so it makes for a pretty good activity when the geese arent cooperating
i just joined this site earlier today and am amazed at all the different methods and techniques ive all ready stumbled upon on this site
I'm 36 years old.. Been doing it for 20 years..I can't figure them out...sometimes I think they have a degree in watching for barrel glare. Some days they are stupid..some days they are masters....
In the end I have 500 + over 20 years.. I respect the crow. This weekend is a season opener for me..Pics on the way!!

I introduced 8fish to crows done right in november and he is as we say down here.. eat up withit . He,s agood friend and agreat Dad Iam very lucky I met him!!! Hope ya,ll don,t mind an ole skeetshooter here lol. Don,t tell anybody but I shoot trap too and luv it!!
Want to cut barrel glare? Krylon camo paint and lightly buff with xtra fine steel wool till it quits shining. Painted a 870 but have not done it to my " boat paddle " yet. If you have a gun you don't want to paint I would try black or brown non stick vet wrap. Like they use on horses feet.
