Went this morning with father and his adult son and managed 33 in a gale of a wind. We had to change sets 4 times because of the wind but was able to down a few.

Went to a friends place down the road and whacked another 30 before he need to leave so Noah and I drove to the back of his place and picked up another 12.

Sorry, no pics. No one wanted their pic taken with a crow. Go figure???

Total of 75 for the day. Nice day to spend in the woods with friends and family.

That puts us up to 808 for the season. Gonna try for a even thousand but time is running out and crows are getting smart. Hard to believe 4 months ago I didn't even know what crow hunting was or how much fun it is! I think I am hooked for life!!nobiggrin

nice job 8fish, I have til the end of march to hunt, but we have so much snow & ice I haven't been able to get into my spots in like 3 weeks( evenwith 4wd) Hunted a cattle farm last fri. & there were a ton of birds around the feeders & in the trees. We didn't get out til about 3pm & by the numberof crows in the trees, I figured they were getting ready to go to roost. Everytime we shot (which wasn't often) the birds would leave the area & not return. It's probably a 1500 acre farm & we jumped around to different spots, just to late in the day. there had to be a thousand mallards there also, must be some open water somewhere.
