I only have one hand call, but I love it. I tried several others and didnt like them at all, but they were the cheap buy them at any store kinda calls. The one I blow is a old plastic lohman. I know its a cheap call but i like it. The other calls i tried were primos, and something else cant remember. My question is alot of guys on here talk about different calling styles and sertain calls made for that calling style. I dont understand. Im a avid waterfowler and a good caller and understand the different types of calls and styles for ducks and geese. Single reed = long range and you can highball them with a single reed which is not for me because ducks dont make that sound and were always hunting ducks that are here for long periods, they dont want to hear it. Double reeds = close calling and grunt style calling, (meat calls). Are there soft calls and long range calls for crows? I have never seen long range on a crow call package. Please explain, Im still learning about crow calling. Thanks
