I know this topic was brought up before, but I forgot. I picked up some 12 ga. 1 1/8 oz. 3 dram 1200 fps estates, 7 1/2 and 8's. I did a quick 5 minute R&G mainly to make sure they would eject. Killed 2 and did some rapid fire tests. No problems. I reload, but I get lazy and pick up cheapos for back ups.
Anybody like or dislike this shells. They are super sport competition target load. $4.99 a box. I figured it was worth a try. I might be real sorry I did'nt back up the truck at that price.
I jumped over the border this passed Friday to Cabelas in PA. I don't know how long they are on sale. Any fellow buster interested in range of the store, go pick some up. They had different loads and velocities in 12 and 20 ga. in 7 1/2, 8, and 9 shot.
Do you remember if they were the same ones I specified. They have 4 or 5 different ones. I'm always leery of the low steel bases kicking out of my semi.
It seems like they had a steel base. I am almost certain they did. I was paying $60 per case for 1 oz and 1 1/8 oz. I shoot a Benelli that will eat anything. The only shells I have shot that it will not cycle are the AA Low Recoil light target loads. I shot some of them when I was adjusting the point of impact to point of aim and wanted something I could hold dead still with without the recoil. It would not cycle them. I would not be afraid of the estates at all. All their shell I have shot have patterned well and seem to be good quality. At $5 per box, I don't think you can go wrong. That is as cheap as it gets.

I shot some estate game loads 7.5 shot 1 1/8 ounce and my semi cycled just fine, only advise is keep any steel base shell dry and clean. If they get damp that is when they turn grey and fail to cycle. You want them shiny, I even used some high brass estates with good success.
