I have one.. Realistic sound.. but low voume.. I ended up hard wiring the on / off switch with 50ft of wire with a toggle switch so I could operate it from the blind...Then I put it in my attic... I'm sure they work well in the right set up, but not my method..Luck with yours..
We like to mix one into our small spreads for "background sound" purposes. Use your regular ecaller to pull them in from distance but during rest periods, the Cawin' Crow can keep inbound crows interested.
Took it out today and shot a crow at every spot a total of 6. shot 2 at one spot thats prety good for up north here in nh.. i found that 2 hanger dekes and 2 standard and the CAWLIN Crow and we had probly 80 brids total come in but only managed to get 6 lot of them landed in trees 100yds out..
