$6.27/box? What the heck. They are $7.97/box here in PA at Wally World.
That's only $4.27/box after rebate. You can't even reload for that. And Nitro 7.5 are the very BEST shell on the market (in my opinion). Wish I was closer...I'd buy 4 cases.

Wonder why the price difference???
Hammer
Don't know what the difference is. They have been that price for quite a while. I have bought out two stores so far. I checked with one of Walmart's sporting goods associates today to see if they were no longer going to carry them or something to explain the cost difference. They said they would get more and the skew number was still active. The funny thing is all other Remington STS loads in 20ga and 12 ga are $7.27. Winchesters are $7.57. I will own 5 cases of the 27's before it is over.

That's interesting. Mississippi vs. PA Wally World prices. Maybe I can go in my local Wal Mart and ask for the $6.27 price and when they say NO...I'll say.. "Well, I'll just jump in my truck and drive to Mississippi to save a $1.70 a box....HAHA.
You better get them while they're hot... Sunday (April 10th) is the last day of our season. It'll be hard waiting for July 1st...but I have other things to do... like spring gobbler starting on April 23rd (youth hunt for me and my 7 & 9 year old) then my turn on April 30th. Can't wait...been hearing them gobble all over the place.
Let me know how you do on Sunday. Watch Em Fall & I are going out tomorrow for our last hunt of the season.
I know it's over, I called up a cousin and told him to break out the welcome wagon. I got turkey in 2 1/2 weeks.
How are your little ones handling a magnum turkey load. If there is any problem, here is a trick. Let them shoot light loads at paper turkeys and the day of the hunt you put in the big stuff. They will be so jazzed up at taking a bird , they won't even realize their shoulder went back a foot and a half.
That's the game plan. They use to shoot a .410 but I didn't think it was big enough. They haven't shot at a gobbler yet. I had them out last year but couldn't get a bird to cooperate. Watch Em gave me his wifes Charles Daly 20 gauge semi (youth model) and my oldest shot it twice. I'm letting him shoot low brass 2 3/4 and on the day of the hunt...I'll sneak a 3" in...haha. Like you said..when Old Tom is out front...he won't even realize he got kicked... Just hope he hits it..haha
Thanks for the heads up, I bought the last 5 boxes on the shelf here. The wally world 20 minutes north of here has them for $8.47 a box. The one 20 min. south (in AL) has them for 7.97 a box. I tried to find someone who worked there to see if there was a case or two I could buy, but couldn't find a soul around to help me.
