Out again this morning at first light and what a difference 24 hours can make. Bright, clear, warm and sunny. Nothing like yesterdays fog, gloom, cold and drizzle.
Used the same blind as yesterday, piled up 31 good crows and a magpie by "coffee time". Shot very well until the sun got up and around into my blind and eyes by mid morning. Then the birds were spotting me and shooting got tougher.
Saw lots of interesting wildlife. A couple giant racoons, a mink, a coyote barked at me from a safe distance and lots of songbirds, cranes and waterfowl. Also while "bushing" some of my kill I happened upon a crow with a bit of white in its wing. Took a quick photo, sorry a cheap camera with no macro.
Still a good day! My new avatar is my lab "AUDIE" with his 3" model 12 with Seminloe Chokes, they are the seeds!! A flying crow to his left and a bunch of dekes and dead ones all around him!
