Since it's a long time until fall here are a few photos that will help pass the time. Memories in the field are great and photos bring it all back.

If you have a good hunting buddy you can keep each other going by making plans for the following season.

Talk to you guys soon.

Wow Bob, great pictures. A couple of those birds didn't stand a chance, good shooting. What's with the crows on the wire, do they not let go after they are shot. How long do they hang on there?

Bob in pic 2 that is one step drop off over the hill.  We had some sailors make it over that hill and wow they could go for a long ways out.

I bet our blind was not more then 30 feet from where yours was.  We did have 2 dead crows in that Oak tree since the wind was perfect.  Nothing like them coming up the draw when they can not hear your shots!!!

We were worried about running over one of the ladies dogs on the way out!

John

NH Crow,

All three got zapped from a surge going through the power line, they didn't have to be grounded inorder to have that happen. Thats a most unusual photo.

Hi John,

Jerry shot a real nice piebald crow in that spot several years ago.

Hi RZ,

Those crows were electrocuted by a surge going through the line, they didn't have to be grounded inorder to get zapped! When the wind blew they (all three) just slid back & forth on the wire for over a month before they blew down! I'm glad I had a camera with me to take that most unusual photo.
