I am not one to pound on his chest but I am very proud of my oldest son Ethan. He and another fellow fireman went to New York this past week to retrieve a piece of the World Trade Center to use to construct a memorial here in our town of Frankenmuth. I am proud that he serves our communtity to keep us safe and that he has the patriotic spirit to help us remember and never forget what happened on 9/11. Below is a link to a newscast of their trip and return to town.
Fowlplay: Your message is sooo accurate.. We cannot fully apprecate what those men and women do for our safety and freedom EVERY single day. Thanks for the reminder.
Congratulations to The Frankenmunth F. D. and this honourable task now almost completed. 343 of our brother firefighters perished that terrible morning. We shall never forget their sacrifice.
Ted
