I stumbled across this cave of vines last week. It is about 10' across and 6 1/2' high to the top of the dead tree. It's in a small clearing on private property. I hollowed it out a bit and draged some more vines across the front. I just need to build up the front higher and I'll be done. It is a little tough to see the scale without a someone standing in it. This piece of land does produce a lot of birds, but they won't know what hit 'em.
Depending on you're height (5' 7" to 6' 0") it looks like the other 3 sides could be about as high as the highest point so far. What is that, a tree limb or a fence post being used for support? I can see that you are off to a good start, those Jersey crows better look out!

It's a great little 90 acres I use for deer and turkey. Fox and the ocassional coyote too, and the bear that eluded me last year. Crows are there in small bunches, and when I take them out, more move right in. A few guys use the property, but not for crows.
As soon as I saw this, it was screaming turn me into a blind. It"s not easy to see, the lower front are vines pulled around. When I make it higher, I'll attach it to a beefy branch on the right and I will have a gate.
I always try to make blindes out of natural foiliage if i can, looks more natural and you dont have to drag it with and and carry it out when you're done. I always just try to make all the side equal height and tall enough where it completely covers me when I sit on my bucket.
Hate to bust ur bubble Mike, but Shane is just being polite That blind is way to good lookin to be natural. It's probably one of Shanes old one that he just don't use no more cause he has gotten tired of standing on the empty hulls O'l moma nature ain't got nothin on Shane
