Finally after 2 and a half months, I have recieved back my barrel from Briley's. They did a nice job. Had choke tubes installed for my 30" barrel, that was a full choke. Now I have 3 choices of chokes to use. Hopefully I might be able to hit these birds!. I will be using Mod choke. I also have IM & Full. All I need now is for the PA. season to start again.
I had chokes put in my model 12 3" heavy duck gun by Seminole in Fla. A dear friend and gunsmith recomended them because he told me they are the closest on tolerances-so I had them do it! No regrets,I love 'em.I also have briley's as well and Ilike them as well! Good luck and go get 'em!!

Hizz I have a feather weight that I would like to have choked.. I dont care about hurting the value of the gun,,,cause it will never be for sale. What kind of money are we talkin on a job like that??? Of you dont mind me askin.....The only reason its not been done is the gun cant be replaced and frankly I dont trust somone with my one of a kind,,,It would make a hell of a crow killer if I had her choked..........
Your barrel has to be of an outside thickness of .875. With 3 chokes the job was around $250.oo Well worth It!! Look up Seminole Chokes and give 'em a buzz they are great to deal with, tell they came recommended ! Let me know how you make out!!
