Lord,

I pray you would guide the surgeon's and nurse's hearts, hands, and minds and Jon would heal quickly.  Amen.

Good luck Jon.

You'll do just fine Jon.

Good planing getting it done now so you have time to heal up before hunting season.

Get well soon.

Jon    They will tell you not to lift more than 5 lbs for a good while,,,,,,,,not to worry most of us just leave our crows in the fieldbiggrin Honestly I'm suprised you just don't do the surgery yourselfwink Don't be too critical of the doc, Be sure and tell him you are a lawyer for the CB site and he will do a better job!!!! Good lucksmile

Finally, he is getting it taken care of. That means that he has one month to heal . I told Jon that I would take him out for the opening of Dove this year. He can't hit a crow so I know dang well he ain't going to hit a gray blip flying across the field, but the fun we gonna have. Atleast now he can laugh and not hurt any more. That's gonna be a good thing.

Chip, nice avatar .

Barry,

How long ago did you bag that bull elk?

I'll tell you my elk story. About 15 years ago I was hunting crows and I'm asking for permission to hunt. Well about 100 yards from this guys front door is a pole shed with what I thought was the largest damn buck I ever saw! It was skinned out and the body cavity was kept open to let it air out. No head was on the animal so when I mentioned that that was the largest damn deer I ever saw the guy at the front door started laughing, he said "it's a cow elk!" I was in Oklahoma but he shot the animal in Colorado. I got a good laugh over that myself.
