The New Hampshire Crow season started Monday and of course we got hard rains. Rain stopped yesterday afternoon early. It was slow but I managed to kill 2 out of a group of 7 or 8 that came in screaming immediately after I set the decoys out before I had turned on the caller. My usual partner joined me after he got out of work and we killed two more between us.
This morning we hit a mowed field at the edge of some corn. The big ol' 10 bores roared and we killed 17 between us in about 45 minutes, we left and both made it to work on time.
Shooting 'em like it was done in the 90's.........1890's that is.

8 The gun above has (Fine English) Twist which is two bands of metal, iron and steel, twisted together and hammer forged over a mandrel. Damascus is 3 to 5 bands of iron and steel twisted together and hammer forged. Twist is simple black and white stripe whereas damascus has man different and often fascinating patterns.
