Season starts in NY on September 1, a month and a half before deer archery or pheasant.  Grouse October 1.

Got a Brittany pup -- she's 4 months old now!

The crow season in NY allows hunting only from Friday-Monday. They seem pretty pesky all week long to me.

Yeah it's Fri/Sat/Sunday only here in Ohio. You'll get used to it. It might also keep you from over hunting a spot.

Where do they come up with this bull. Makes no sense.....Do you not have a dove season there that starts Sept.1?

most states get around 120 days to hunt crow each year. They all have different ways of achieving this goal.

No state shall have more than 124 days and not during the peak breeding season. You can read about the treaty right here on the site.

N.J. is Mon. Thurs. Fri. and Sat. I use to think it was a bad thing but it turns out to be better than every day. It makes it a longer season.

No pigeon, mouring dove or rock dove. All protected.

Sorry you don't get to hunt dove in your state. But I guess they are a song bird.............they sing a little.... (or sizzle ) on the grill with a little bacon wrapped on them ! lol

Our crow season here is probably 120 days str8 with one small break during deer rifle. But it falls when we have most of our crows, not much crow activity during warm weather here. So it's about right ...except for the break.

The limit on days has something to do with a treaty with Mexico, no idea what its about, that's all I know. Each state can set their own season limit. I'll be out Fri. in upstate NY.
