Picked up a couple boxes of the above 12 gauge shells to try on crows just for giggles. Box claims the one ounce payload of 7 1/2's have a muzzel velocity of 1330 fps. Shot a few crows this morning with these shells and found them to really pack a punch , on the crows and my shoulder as they are quite "snappy". I was overall impressed with the performance and did drop several overhead passing crows well out to 50 yards I would estimate. Not sure how they pattern but will get onto that soon.

I'd say 80% or more of my birds are taken with 1oz loads. I have a 1oz reload that I really like and I also shoot some factory shells that are 1oz. If I miss, it is not the shells fault.
I have limited experience with the Estate Super Sports but remember shooting well with the few boxes I got my hands on. Estate is made by Federal.
I bought some back in March. Was'nt sure how they were either, but @ $5 a per, I picked up 8 boxes. Worked fine. I got the 1 1/8 loads in 7 1/2 and 8's, 1200 f.p.s.
For those of you who don't reload and like to shoot!!! If you find any load that you can shoot well and you feel comfortable with buy a truck load of em!!!! Anything under 6 bucks a box!!! I know you have heard me say it before, but it's gonna happen these ammo prices are gonna get plum stuped in the near future
At crows I usually shoot factory 12 Gauge 3 dram trap loads these days in 7 1/2 or 8 shot. Just picked up a few boxes of the Estates to try them out and I must say I am impressed.
I do however shoot many grows with 16 gage 1 ounce 2 1/2 dram loads. Ammo was scarce for this aformentioned gauge for many years up here. Lately I have been able to secure a good supply of 16 gauge ammo at a very reasonable price. This pleases me greatly as the 16 is my favorite gauge to shoot on crows and upland birds.

I've been shooting 7/8 oz of 7 1/2's in the 20ga these last 5-6 years. They will knock em down real good out to about 35yds. I'm gonna hit them with 1 1/4oz of 7 1/2's thru the new 12ga this fall & winter. I got about 90% in the 30" circle at 35yds with reloads. Glad you found a reliable shell for these bandits.
