Following up on David's recent pellet gun work, the TCP wanted to do a little tribute to the "A Team" and take out a crow at long "rimfire" range, Skip Woody style. Got this one this morning at 135 yards, measured by a Leica Geovid, with the tiny .17M2. The 17 grain Hornady V-Max bullet got the job done.
This rifle was originally setup for nighttime jack rabbit hunting where it performs wonderfully. It turns out to be a fine crow gun, too. Low noise, very flat to 100 yards or so, and highly accurate. The scope is a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7X with the FireFly reticle.
That is a Alangator™ TriMag™ Factory 10/22 Magazine Coupler with Ruger Transparent magazines. A slick accessory giving you 30 shots, but only one was needed for this luckless crow. One crow down before I even turned on the FoxPro!
