Hopefully 10gacrowshooter and I will get into them today ahead of the storm. This is not good and definitely out of season.

THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* LOCATIONS...INTERIOR SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW HAMPSHIRE AS WELL
AS INTERIOR SOUTHWEST MAINE.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY WET SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND COME TO AN
END EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...DROPPING INTO THE UPPER 20S.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY WET SNOW WILL CAUSE SLIPPERY DRIVING CONDITIONS.
IN ADDITION... MANY TREES STILL HAVE THEIR LEAVES AND WILL BE AT
RISK FROM THE HEAVY WET ACCUMULATIONS. THIS MAY CAUSE LIMBS TO
SAG OR SNAP...POSSIBLY CAUSING DAMAGE TO NEARBY STRUCTURES OR
POWER LINES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.

10gacrowshooter and I had a long and productive day ahead of the storm on Saturday taking 52 birds between us before lunch. After a sandwich and drink we tried a couple of locations before settling into one ahead of the snow and killed 26 more for a total of 78. The action was steady but not intense and it sort of dawned on us near the end of the shoot that it was a second best day ever. We got a lot of heavy wet snow and lost power for two days. The snow blanketing the cut fields covered up an abundant food supply and many of the migrants seem to have moved on.
