Photo #1 a classic pic of being over run. Next three a poignant display of a crow last few seconds on this earth! What species of geese are those Bob?
Last of the northern mallards are now pulling out of Manitoba as per photo of my retriever and sunset photo of the last duck of the season Thanks for sharing Bob.

In photo # 1 you can see a full scale flyway shoot from the mid to late 1970's. Photo # 2 was shot right here in Hutchinson, Kansas back in the 1980's. Photo # 3 is a great old action photo of Jim Lundquist getting on a crow just a moment before impact. In photo # 4 there are already two dead birds in the air (the far ones) and the third is about to get it!
Photo # 5 was taken on a dove shoot in Argentina back in the late 1980's. Look close, you can see the feathers fly just to the right of my old Alpine Hat. Look just underneath my muzzle and you can see the Eared Dove falling.
Photo # 7 is of a pretty typical goose hunt in Argentina, had a great movie made that morning of that particular hunt. All I used was an express load (3 3/4 - 1 1/4 - 4's lead) out of a modified choke that morning.
Photo # 9 is a photo of one damn lucky crow, all I had in my hands was a 35mm camera!
Hope you guys enjoy the photos.

I just bought a Nikon 35mm with a 500mm zoom lens on it. Now I have the magnification that I've needed for years. I will be shooting more action still shots when I get together with Dick Kilbane in December.
That very first photo with all the crows coming in was shot in Stafford County, Kansas back in the late 1970's. Boyd Robeson was doing the shooting and I was taking photos for as long as I could stand it! It was like that (what you see in the photo) for the last hour before dusk.
There used to be a huge roost of 1 million plus crows near St. John, Kansas. By 1984 it was finished, Boyd hunted that area since 1962. The farmers bulldozed the roost and that was the end of an era!

I finally remembered to look at this on my computer so I could see the pic in detail. Great photos! I really like the one with the wad and shot string present. Looks like that bird is about to be eat up.

I think in the second set of pics in pic #5 you can see the shot string after it passed thru the bird. It took a while to figure it out but I believe that is what it is
