First time poster: Just got into crow hunting about a month ago. Here in TN we can only hunt Fri., Sat, Sun. Great hunt this morning, set up the decoys in a field by between two barns and an old wet weather pond with some rock bluffs and hardwoods across the field about 1/2 a mile and the Cumberland River at our back 50 yards behind us. Turned on the Fox Pro and put a general crow call on and had them landing in the decoys Killed 20 in two and a half hours. Great way to start the work day.
It is a great way to start a day, sounds like you had fun. Keep the wind at your back too. Be careful, crow hunting is so much fun and full of action you might find you start doing it more and more even to the point of giving up other types of hunting
