Here is a recent blind that Big Honkers and I used to bag some crows.
In the Texas Crow Patrol, we use our Metro barrel extensions on most hunts with our Browning Maxus's (GB and TM) or a Browning BPS (LSP). Our new preferred load is the Federal Top Gun Sub-Sonic - 1 1/8 ounces of 7 1/2's at 900FPS. For decoys, we typically use 6 GHG decoys on the ground with a couple of Flambeau's up in close up trees. We also use a Edge Expedite Dove or Wounded Woodpecker painted flat black for some "flapping" motion.
For sound, we use FoxPro ecallers - primarily a Snow Crow Pro II Plus and some mouth calling with Gibson, Mallardtone and other brand calls. Our favorite ecalling sounds are the Johnny Stewart Owl and Crow Fight and Come Here Crows, both improved by Minnesota John by the deletion of the owl and death cry "solos". We also like the JS Death Cry of the Crow for late stand "hard calling".
In addition to using shotguns, we also enjoy using rifles and pistols on crows, when a safe opportunity presents itself.
