I posted a couple months ago about wanting a double barrel, side by side. I hd looked at an old Lefever. I returned today to Cabelas today and it was still there.
A Lefever Nitro Special by Ithica. 12 guage, double triggers, 30" barrels, full and modified. The bores are near perfect, very tight action.
I didn't have the full amount to buy today but put it on lay-away. Just yesterday I received a coupon in the mail to give me an "employee discount." Saved me $40.
It will be my "new" crow gun. Can't wait to go pick it up. Crow season opens January 22nd.

What chokes are your Nitro Specials?
This one I bought has 30" barrels, FULL/MOD, I would like to have them reamed to possibly MOD and IC. I'll shoot it first withdifferent cartridges and see how it patterns.
