The only thing not mentioned in MH's post are the Crow limits for each State. I think California has/had a 24 bird limit per day. I am not certain about that tho.

Ohio-- No limit.

California and Wisconsin are the only two states that have a bag limit on crows. Both states are run by the Liberals!

I thought Cali did. I didn't realize Wisconsin did. Wisconsin also just started their CCW program a few months ago which is a great thing. So I guess this post has ended quick!! LOL

I didn't ask because it never occured to me that any state would have a limit on crows.

Thanks for asking though, interesting that a couple states do have a limit.

Hi Kev. I was just as surprised as you when I found out Cali had a limit a few years ago. Now to find out Wisconsin does as well is really disturbing. lol

I wonder how they enforce it. If the huneter isn't honest....... it isn't like game birds where the hunter is carrying them home. In other words, if a guy is runing and gunning, where is his limit?  Is the warden going to go back to his last 3 stands of the morning and count the dead crows in the field?

I would imagine in that situation he could bust you if he was following you & watching thru binos from a distance. Otherwise I agree it would be tough. I've wondered the same thing as well. It's their problem tho I guess. I'm glad the rest of the States have a clue. Now to get the seasons straightened out where we can hunt everyday rather than just the days AFTER the birds leave the areas I have permission to hunt.

I would just be tickled to kill 25 in a day. We're learning but still have a long way to go. Hoping that we have learned enough by hunting and reading on this site to break that barrier this year.
