Hey guys, I just got into crow hunting a few years ago and I gotta say its a blast. Every year though on my property, only in the winter the crows early in the morning fly from the east heading west and maybe an hour before sunset they fly back from the west to where they came from in the morning in great numbers. The problem is they fly pretty high there and back. My question is how do you get them to fly down lower? What calls and method would work?
Any advice would be great!

Follow them with your auto to and from roosing/feeding areas. Take note of staging areas as well. If the crows are roosting in a metro area then hunting them there is impossible...unless you happen to have invented silent gunpowder.
If roosting/feeding in an area that allows hunting, secure permission if nessisary, build a suitable blind or use natural cover/topography and the shoot is on. Never shoot a roost or feeding area but rather set up nearby and intercept birds as they come or go. Further, those high flying crows will be driven down by strong head winds, a good time to hunt these travel lanes. Good luck.
