I've been at this game a long time and even I have been screwed in the past (only once) and I was very carefull whom I took with me, but yes, even I made the mistake of taking the wrong guy years ago.
I hunted crows with a fella from out of state this season in "his home state" where I hunt too. We were in "his territory" and had good shooting. I hunt over 100 miles from where this fella does. To make the long story short I told him "you will never see me in this area unless I'm with you" and by that I meant "now where near the spots he took me" I think that is the lowest thing one guy can do to another is go behind his back after he has been good to you. He knows who he is, he posts on here on a fairly regular basis.

One of the major problems today is that some of the newer hunters are never taught the basic morals of hunting and courtesy that goes with it..That goes for some of the stubborn unwilling to change older guys as well.Maybe they didn't have anybody teach them the right way coming up.Nobody taught me either,I learned on the fly as I went.
The old adage still holds true today"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".Too bad more people don't have that value anymore. As I have said before "Greed does strange things to people".
