Fake crows for decoys
Permalink

So my wife is reading a local "BUY/SWAP/SELL" magazine last night and emails me to say that somebody is selling 115 fake crows, each is 12 inches tall, for $1 dollar each.

I get pretty excited thinking that I would buy all 115 of the darn things, keep a couple dozen for myself. Then sell the rest. Cheap decoys, right?

So I get online to check them out..................

Anybody interested? I'll sell them for $2 each.......LOL!biggrinbiggrin

No, I didn't buy them.

Hahahaha, I think if you used those, you might attract the crows from the movie Dumbo. Pretty funny!

I can't see what the back of them look like, but if you cut off the legs and painted the beak, it might work.

Man, you have no idea. LOL!

Couple years ago, I found a plastic "raven" at a Michaels craft store. It cost $5, is flocked and has reall feathers for wings. It's my best decoy and many crows have died over that decoy. Now they tell me they can't get anymore of them. All I could think was that these for $1 was that these were the same thing.

When my wife told me about these for $1 each, I was all set to get every darn one of them................until I saw that photo.

What's that old saying?  "If it sounds too good to be true........it probably is."
