Sometimes they come packing a lunch

10gacrowshooter and I got out this morning and hunted till Noon.  Still slow but it's nice to be able to get out this time of year.  We managed to get 29 between us from a river front blind.  I killed one packing a lunch and he held on to it for the trip into the after life.

Very nice, he brought you a snack!

Beautiful country, I would love to spend a long morning in a blind overlooking that area.

I agree with those above...

The view from the blind would never get old.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

What happens if the crow population gets too low?

They must worry about that here in Washington State. While there is no limit it is considered a migratory bird and can only be hunted from 1 September to 31 December. If they are predating crops, or orchards they can be killed at any time.
