Still on top of the dirt !

Some of the old guys might remember me? Haven't been on in a while. Like the up grades. Got out a few times with Crow Dog and Crow Burner. The boys are out chasing crows as I speak(type). Had some pretty good shoots and the crows were pretty lucky. My wing shooting still stinks, but at 65 years, I'm just glad to be shooting.  Our crow hunting seems to be getting harder each year. More and more guys are finding the sport and the crow are well educated. I swear they know Crow Dogs calling. It's a bluebird day today and the boys are looking for a good place to shoot this weekend. Gotta go. Good shooting to all.

Ron your name just came up in a conversation during a recent hunt with Marv. I'm glad to hear that you are still kicking and doing well!! I always enjoyed chatting with you and your pics you used to post especially your backyard ones were some of the best! Good to hear from ya and hope to talk soon!!

Thanks guys. Ain't got much on the way of crow wisdom as they seem to give us a lesson everytime out. Just when you think you got it they throw something else at ya. The boys track the crows down Thursday and went and setup on them Friday morning and had a good shoot. They took down about 50 of them before running out of shells. Dam, I hate it when that happens. I might go tomorrow if it ain't to cold. Old guy can't take it anymore.

Frosty, The backyard is still a busy place. Lots of nervous critters round here. The coyotes are everywhere. Last night they were at my back door. Think they were after one of the cats. Gotta get me on of those red lights and keep the 06 ready. I'll see what I got for new pics. With the old forum gone I guess any of them would be new.

Little Miss Fluffy doing some hunting.

Good to have you back Geezer! The newer fellows here on the site don't know what they are in for with your backyard pics. This past deer season my sons cat walked all the way down the hillside in our woods to take a dump right under my treestand. I let him finish and yelled "boo!!" he must of jumped 8 ft off the ground and was off like a rocket it scared him so badly!! 5 minutes later a nice 8 point walked in to me the same way the cat had ran away and I dropped him at 25 yards!! Tag filled and venison in the freezer!! Keep posting those cool pics and I'll see if I can dig up some of the old ones I shared on the old board. Take care Ron.

Frosty
