A house cat in a bird cage is an old crow hunters trick for decoying birds. Cats probably don't like it much. I think the birds are Jackdaws.

 Wasn't sure if they were jackdaws or magpies. Either way, they are some feisty birds.

In the parking lot where i work there was a take out container that a few crow were eating the leftovers but a seagull came and bullied the two crow away....it wasnt a few minutes later about eight crow showed up and the surrounded the gull. One crow got behind the gull and pulled it away from the container while the other crow ove in and picked the container clean! It's a blast watching how smart the crow really is!

I don't really care for cats, but I really wanted that cat to snag one of those birds and shred him.

Great cat fight though, that black one was pretty aggressive.
