Does anyone on here record video of any of their crow hunts, or any other hunts for that matter? If so, what do you use for a video camera and what kind of setup do you use? Thanks
We do. Takes a bit of doing to get quality footage of a crow hunt. We use 2 cameras, a Canon XHA1and a Canon VH40. XHA1 is the main camera. We use it on a carbon fiber tripod with a liquid head, LAN wired remote and a 7" remote LCD screen. VH40 is the "hunter" cam, use it to film the hunters shooting or another remote angle.

Thanks for the reply Critter. I don't have a high-tech camera or anything and I almost always hunt by myself so I'm not sure if I should just make use of my current camera with it's tripod or if I should invest in a Point of View camera that mounts on my hat or gun. Not sure which direction to go.
I would use your current camera and aim it toward where you think your going to be doing your shooting and go for it. Toughest part is waiting for them to be in frame before shooting. I think if you combined that with some POV footage you could put some decent footage together to show off.

We were thinking about purchasing a recorder that was in a pair of sunglass's to record a hunt. Figured you would see right down the barrel and to the crow.
My Cousin Cody and i just recently got into crow hunting. This was our first video we have ever made and first attempt to film crows. We also aimed the cameras in the openings and had one camera on us. Here is a video we put togather it is our first video like i said so its not the best. Last weekend we filmed each other and ended up getting 13 kills on film in one day we were very pleased with the footage of the kills.
