Same here... I was thinking it's me, but there just aren't huge numbers where I hunt. Still having fun.

I really only had a few days with any numbers of birds & what flocks there were (and they were not anywhere near as large as other years) are already breaking up. Hopefully next year will be better, keep blaming it the mild winter, but not really sure if thats what it was, maybe I just suck !

Hey Shad,

That's a nice fish. Not sure we have anything like that down here.

Hey Rook,

One of my off season projects is to rework the materials on our blinds. We have tried Mil Spec (Die cut rip stop attached to a heavy nylon mess with hog rings) and burlap. So far the $12 burlap is the winner by a long shot over the $120 Mil Spec. The Mil Spec hangs on EVERYTHING!!!! If the burlap hangs on something, it just pulls free. On so with the mil spec.

How does that material resist snagging?

It will definitely snag in the briars, but I wove some grasses from my wife's garden in the die cuts -- trying to make it stand alone with minimum sprucing up in the field.
