Went for a short drive this afternoon. Called from several locations known to produce birds. Shot this double and a few singles here and there to keep things interesting. These birds are non-breeders, likely the young of last spring. Never glossy black like the mature birds but more of a dull black with lots of brown in their wings.
Nice days work Haven't been able to get out as wind is blowing a hooley and flood warnings everywhere. And Monday have to attack three new permissions that are teeming with rabbit, but also have large crow populations
