Wild cherry and maple call

Whipped this one up for myself. Some wild cherry I got in a trade a few years ago, hard as a dang rock! I gave it a good cussin' while turning it.

Nibs are Canadian maple I bought from a pool cue maker.

This one turned out kind of high pitched, has a young crow sound, at least to my ear. I just left it at that.

Looks sweet! If you want to tone it down a bit you could slide down a few fibers of a string above and below the reed. That's what I do and it works fine.
