question for you guys.. Had to rid my dove field of some crows last week due to "crop" damage.. Ended up picking up 15.. I had a lot of dove fliying in to feed while I was sending number (x's) at crows.. Do you think this would have any effect on the doves leaving?
If you only burned the crows once and you have plenty of feed for the doves, It should not deture them that much. Doves will feed in an area til they are killed completely out. IMO they are about as smart as pigeons
Just a few more days. Its going to be a real long week. I figure with the lack of doves, I just might fire up the Foxpro. We finally can start shooting doves at dawn this year, so hopefully it might be good. If not I will make some crows fly.
Just imagine this. A field full of dove hunters but no doves flying. Then the crows start coming in and I start blasting. Don't you reckon it going to freak some folks out.
