Just getting back into small game hunting after being away from it since the mid-'70s.  There aren't huge amounts of crows (that I have seen) in my area of Ct but the season is 4 months long and I have a new Foxpro Wilfire on its way and I intend to get after the crows and coyotes.  Not much other small game to hunt around here other than squirrels.

Doing a ton of reading and hope y'all can offer advice to a guy that is new to calling.

Welcome aboard. Lot of good info on here, just need to take a little time and read through some of the post, both new and old.

Thanks guys!!!!    I'm doing a lot of reading and trying to pick up all I can.  Once the Foxpro Wildfire arrives it will be a matter of "root hog, or die"!  Once I've got a few flops under my belt, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions on specifics on how to steepen my learning curve.  Really excited about a gamebird (in Ct anyway) that offers a long season (4 months here) and lots of shooting  if I can learn enough.

Thanks....2few

Brown truck delivered the FoxPro Wildfire this evening.  Going to try it out in the back yard tomorrow just to get an idea how it works.  Any advice???

2few: Welcome to our crow hunting family. You have a lifetime to enjoy our adversary: the crow.  I say adversary and he is, but he is also greatly respected by our band of brothers. Few if any other airborne targets are as challenging.. and smart as Mr. crow in all the different forms in which he presents himself. Be sure to read the beginners and advanced articles you will fine here. I think virtually any question you might have.. is answered somewhere therein. Good hunting!
