Got a call from a farmer this weekend complaining about the crows eating his peanuts. I know it is late for him to be harvesting now, but he is. We set up this morning in a hurry....running late. We were picking up our gear at 10:00 this morning. Thought it was over. Took the picture with 119. But, we were able to bag 3 more for a total of 122. Cut out right before the rain came flooding in!

Oh no. We got in about 20 minutes before daylight. Just took time to set up 3 blinds, get decoys up and out, and unload the gear. Had to carry it all about 100 yards. The farmer still had peanuts laying on top and we couldn't drive close. That part sucked. LOL

I had never been there. I picked a bad location. The wind shifted as the morning went on and for some reason the birds cut off around 9:30. We normally have birds in the air until at least 11:00. But, it was still fun. And of course, the farmer was happy!

I did pick out a place for the blinds for next time!

8fisherman,

I've got to know: Was the crow really carrying the ketchup?

Island Shooter,

He was till he fell down!! The really funny thing was that the nearest McDonald's is 20 miles as the crow flies (pun intended) to this location. I am sure he picked it up off the road side nearby.
