Shot a small orchard on the end of some row crop land this morning and killed 102. Pic says 103 but that counts the dec I launched.
Shot the flyway we have been watching and killed 136 this afternoon. I killed a long Scottish Double on fish crows. First crow was around 40 yards and second was a little farther. I knew before the shot fired it was a double. I did not shoot it on purpose, the second bird flashed into the sight window as I pulled the trigger and could just tell both were about to be hit. There were about 100 fish crows in front of us when the double was killed. That made up for the dec I shot earlier. All birds were not in either pic as we only picked up the ones in the fields. All others we allowed to lay were they fell.

Outstanding hunt and report. Stellar job on the decoy blast too! lol!
BH
BH,
I hit the crow I was shooting at but not hard enough to knock him down. I was twisting around behind the set and swung right into the dec on a pole about 15' high and about 15' feet behind us. It launched the dec straight up like a rocket!
I killed a double that would have made even George Digweed proud. It was a blue bird day and the birds were tending to be a little high. I switch to a Undertaker super full choke and starting playing long ball with them. I love those shots were they have to pack a lunch just to get back to earth! Skeetshooter killed several birds that were REALLY Tall! He killed one American crow that up there on oxygen. It was one of the tallest American crow kills that I have seen.

Greg: Love your blind set-up and high decoys. Nothing like shooting over an open field, no obstuctions to hamper your shooting. I do suspect, however, you probably managed to try some birds that were amongst the trees/brush behind you. Regardless, fine report, fine shooting and fine TBC. Tough to beat a good crow shoot!
Skip
Skip,
This was a flyway shoot where we were overlooking a big creek bottom. All but 4 or 5 crows came from in front of us. Most birds we were able to see 1/2 - 3/4 miles away. They would be tiny specks when they first came into sight and it would take them a while to make it to us. It was a great setup and shoot.

What a great hunt! Wish we had those types of numbers here is Ga. Big day here is 35 to 40 . Lots of fun but we do not have the numbers
at least not around where I live. I envy you gents that live in areas where u can kill large numbers. Con grats on a great hunt. BTW thanks for info on Fox Pro changing calls.
