Jason Thanks for sharing your hunt with us. Are the galahs in the dove family? A friend of mine hunts doves in Eastern Washington State, it's irrigated high desert over there. They set up by the irrigation canals to shoot the doves on the way to drink after they are done foraging on the wheat & other grain crops. Do you guys eat them?
How much hassle is it to get guns over there and to be able to get out hunting? I watched the movie "The Rabbit Proof Fence" a few years back. If I remember right it is about 18,000 miles long. It would seam they'd let people shoot the rabbits if they are that much of a nuisance. Pat

Nice shoot. Off hand they do look like maybe of the dove/pigeon family. I could be wrong....Never known for that to have happened !!!!!! So... a lesson learned for next time. 4 shot and modified chokes.. Or maybe even 6's and skeet choke.
