...yet the worst situation.

I was at a Bass Pro Shop and noticed a huge amount of crows hanging out right behind it. That probably had no effect on my purchases regardless of the fact that I bought another decoy. Anyways, just figured I'd share this with you guys since I found it amusing. Sorry about the grainy pictures, I took them with my phone.\

I just wish I could have set up on the roof...

Seems the shotgun and caller departments would collaborate to have a "try before you buy" set up outside (or on the roof). Nice.

That's funny because there are thousands of crows near the Bass Pro in Auburn, NY, too! Auburn has been notorious in years past for their crow "problem." I need to meet some farmers up that way!

I'd scout them and find out where those crows are coming from.

That might be the same murder of crow I've seen going up Route 81 between Cortland and Syracuse. Thousands of them, When I move back to New York I will be checking them out as well as other areas. I'll be getting a Pennsylvania hunting license as well to hunt south of the border. I have a brother who lives down by Lancaster that should be a hot spot for crows. Where we go duck & goose hunting in the Ninevah/Afton area is along the Susquahana River with grain fields on both sides of the river, That should produce some decent crow hunting as well. When I move back I'll have to check into off season crow hunting, crop depredation.

You should be able to see where they come from or are going to and set up inbetween. Let us know how you make out.                Pat
